Wan Pauk and Lahu Shi Trek

After breakfast at hotel, drive approximate 25 minutes to Wan Pauk village where is home of Palaung Hill tribe. The Palaung tribes are famous for their complex red cloth costumes with characteristic waistbands. They are locally known as Silver Palaung and we explore the custom, culture and their traditional life style. 

And then another three hours hike to Kwan Pat village where is home of Lahu Shi hill tribe and they are Buddhist who live on the top slope of a mountain and farm their land for their living. It is pleasure to see from distance the houses are standing high on stilts, many paddy fields grown in slopes and steps. Lahu Shi tribes are admirable and kids are adorable. We meet with locals and discover in the village and learn about their culture, costume, and their traditional life style. And then we return to Keng Tung. Overnight in Kengtung.
