Due to the complicated political situation in Myanmar, it is hard to organize the caravan trip at the moment.

The answer is yes in certain situations. The Myanmar law allows foreigners to drive a car/ vehicle in Myanmar only when they registered their trip with Myanmar Tourism Board. The journey should have a fixed itinerary and we strictly follow the routes mentioned in the itinerary.
It is necessary to have a pilot who is normally a tour guide or transportation expert who can guide you on the road.
Your driving license must be converted into a Burmese driving license. Please keep in mind that the document for driving, it mentions the validity, very often it is valuable only at the time you are in Myanmar for the tour. You are not able to use this driving license another time unless you do the paper again.
