Visit Kalaw downtown where we visit some of the old colonial buildings to see their original glory. We also visit an Anglican Church, which was one of the many buildings built by the British in 1906. In Kalaw we explore central market often fill with colorful ethnic tribes. On the 5-day market day the market place is alive with activity and the hill tribe people wear their colorful, uniquely woven national costumes decorated with artistically designed jewellery. We have lunch at Kalaw and walk to Kalaw railways station. Here we hop on the train bound for Thazi (ETA noon). We get down at Myin Daik, located at 4465 feet above sea level. Here we visit the old British built station and some social and cultural interaction with community here. From here we trek back to Kalaw downtown. Total walking hour (3-4 hours).
