Tour Route: Yangon-Ngwe Saung Beach-Yangon
Every Day Departure: from Yangon
Ngwe Saung is a popular beach among tourists visiting Myanmar. It is located 48 km west of Pathein, Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar. The beach is 5 hours’ drive, with no traffic, away from the principal city of Yangon. Buses leave at 6am & 9:30pm from in front of the Yangon Central Railway Station. Opened in March 2000, Ngwe Saung is newer than nearby and more popular Chaung Tha Beach, and is designed to attract people with larger holiday budgets.
There are a number of resorts, restaurants and hotels here catering to tourists all year around. Ngwe Saung, with a beach frontage on the Bay of Bengal with its clear blue waters, its white crested waves, the endless white sandy beach, unspoiled and pollution-free natural surroundings, is indeed one of the best places to select for a holiday interlude of rest and relaxation. There is an ‘elephant camp’ in between Ngwe Saung and Pathein.
Swimming, Elephant Camp visit, Wind Surfing, Sailing, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Free Diving, Fishing, Mountain Bike tour, Motorized Boat tour, Kite Boarding, Surfing and SUB, Village & Island Tours, having fun in the waves, sound, sea, and sand.
